OI Partners is partnering with Arizona State University (ASU) to present a series of workshops to help new graduates as they leave college and transition into the workforce.
The program consists of six modules:
- “I’ve got this great degree – now what?” – Assessments – What do you have to offer?
- “You are the product!” – Learning to Market Yourself
- “What is available in the job market anyway?” – Networking and Job Search Strategies
- “So, tell me about yourself…..” – Interviewing – What to Expect
- “Yes, you do have to practice!” – Interviewing Practice Session
- “I got the job offer – now what?” – Negotiating and Starting the New Job
These workshops are part of a three tiered approach for students to obtain a professional development certificate from the ASU West Campus Office of Professional Advancement and Engagement. The program is being offered using two themes:
- “Learn to be the Competition” sponsored by The School of Global Management & Leadership.
- “Now Hiring - Must Have a Clue!” sponsored by New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences.
